Kathy’s Birch & Willow Studio designs and creates limited edition and one-of-a-kind sconces and pendants in Massachusetts. Her work is inspired by the natural play between light and shadow. Her mission is to create whimsical lighting with an intrinsic sense of nature. Each pendant and sconce is made with sustainably harvested materials and handmade paper. Birch & Willow is a green woman-owned business founded in 1997. Respecting and preserving the environment has been one of her guiding principles for fifteen years.

She uses environmentally conscientious manufacturing processes, high levels of recyclable natural materials, water-based finishes and adhesives, and natural patinas. Her packing materials are reused, and she encourages her customers to continue to recycle the packaging they receive from her.

Located in a lovely studio west of Boston, Massachusetts, Birch & Willow offers in-house production from design to delivery. Skilled artists customize earth-friendly lamps, luminaries, and shades that bring nature into homes or commercial spaces.
