Winter/Dawn
A poem from a Berkshire CenterPoint friend: Credit to Leisha Douglas
–
Dawn slowly enters
Trees hold the darkness close
a tenderness in the way
they make room for each other
what they create together.
Every morning they meet
Day begins to unwind
while they remain present
sometimes coalesce.
Is it about commitment?
The exchange between light and dark
one day to the next
how we choose to live
in relation to another.
